Donations Needed

We would like to rescue several dogs from the south that need immediate veterinary care.  We desperately need donations to help with transport costs, surgery and treatment.  Please help, every penny counts!  The first dog is Shante.

This gorgeous, 10 month old female will require surgery to repair the wounds in her neck.  Her previous owners were neglectful and let her collar became embedded in her neck 🙁

The next dog that needs our help is Missy.  Poor Missy is all skin and bones.  She is currently nursing 10 puppies.  Not only did she nearly starved to death but she is heart worm positive as well.

Please help save us….

We have two more heart worm positive dogs.  They are a mother and her 10 month old son.  They can both be saved with a little help from you 🙂

This is Kathy This is Jason

Both of these dogs are being treated for heart worms and are expected to make a full recovery.

Meet Junior, this happy boy is a 3 year old pittie mix. He came to HVARS after being pulled from a kill shelter in NC. He wasn’t being looked at for 2 reasons. One, he’s a pitbull mix (which is just silly, they are the best dogs) and 2 because he had a severely injured leg.  At the time we were told that his leg may need to be amputated. Juniors left front leg looks like it was either wrapped in or caught up on wire or some kind of chain. Some of the lacerations go down to the bone and this is probably one of the worst looking wounds we have seen here. Despite how bad Junior has been treated in the past, he is a happy go lucky guy. He loves walks outside, playing with the other dogs, and even sitting on the couch with the cats. Junior is going to need TLC and a whole lot of bandage changes for the next 6 weeks. We are also trying laser therapy with him. Please consider donating towards Junior and his recovery. He is also in need of a foster family until he is totally healed and can be adopted! If you met Junior once you’d fall in love!

Having read this I thought it was extremely informative.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this
information together. I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time both
reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was
    still worthwhile!
